Celebrity Justice
Paris -- Blame It on the Messenger?

TMZ has learned that Paris Hilton has seen a new lawyer in a desperate attempt to save her ass.

Hilton has already retained famed criminal defense lawyer Howard Weitzman. Yesterday, she met with celeb DUI lawyer Richard Hutton. TMZ spotted Hilton bawling as she drove away Hutton's office Tuesday afternoon, with mom Kathy driving -- and consoling -- her daughter.

Hilton is in a true pickle and it seems she's throwing a Hail Mary by going to Hutton, hoping she can convince the courts she shouldn't serve 45 days in the pokey. This could be the most expensive DUI case ever.

2. What a spoiled brat. People might respect her if she would take some responsibility for her actions. She is not so busy or famous that she can't figure out for herself if she does or doesn't have a driver's license. I can't get over her sense of entitlement--that she gets to do whatever she wants without any consequences. Her mother is a piece of work too. What a slap in the face to people who have had loved ones killed by drunk drivers.

5. Now for the $64,000 question, Has she enrolled in the dui class she was ordered to attend originally? Now that would be showing remorse and good faith.................... No I am sure she didn't. She is Paris she thinks she is above the law. NOT!! Don't do the crime if you don't want to do the time!

6. Paris could have killed someone in her bently. If your going to do drugs or scotch, make sure you do not drive and talk on the cell. You can afford a driver / bodyguard ! 1234567 your out.
The press should talk about all of your pullovers. Paris should be treated like everyone else. Her fame and money should not be a factor.

9. Paris stop begging for your freedom its pathetic. Take responsibility for your actions and do the time. Stop blaming the world for your ignorance! It must suck to be treated like a normal american. It must suck even more that money can not pay your way out of this. I hope they get you alone in jail and beat you half to death and take advantage of you on a daily basis. You make me sick and even sicker knowing that you are a role model for our young woman.

12. "Parisite" Hilton will not take responsibility until she is forced to! Instead of just being a adult and facing it, she tries to buy her way out of things and make up lame excuses. This IS probably how her snooty mom raised her, and so the tradition continues. What a legacy!! It's like "no one ever questions, accuses, or goes against a Hilton". Puhleeeezze! They go to the bathroom and put their clothes on just like the rest of us. The only difference is the way they hold their noses-if they ever got caught in a rain storm, they are in serious jeopardy of drowning from keeping their noses so high in the air!
They are pititful, shameful and disgusting the way they think they are above the law. THEY commit a crime, yet they can just throw money away like it's nothing to get them "off the hook" and make things go away. They also think they're so special because they have so many friends. Bet most of the "friends" are only there for the perks, and to try and get in the limelight too.
Seems like Ms. Parisite has NOTHING of substance to offer anyone or to this world, except if there's something in it for her (limelight, etc.). Just plain pathetic!!

14. Since all of her fans are writing Gov S to protest the sentence, does that mean that the people who aren't impressed with her which is 95% of the general population of the U.S. can write him and ask for a stiffer jail time for Paris?
